With the warmer weather, it’s the ideal time to go “light” on the makeup front. Swapping your foundation for a BB cream or tinted moisturiser is an easy way to stay fresh faced in the heat.

The number one skincare tip for the spring and summer is to protect your skin with sunscreen to prevent premature ageing and skin damage. It’s best to choose a natural sunscreen that uses a barrier method like zinc oxide as opposed to harmful chemicals. You can switch your usual facial moisturiser for a face specific sunscreen when you’re heading outside.
What are some spring/summer makeup tips?
Opt for either soft pastels or bright bursts of colour when selecting lip and eye shades and veer away from strong or dark makeup, to go with the change of season.
What are some spring/summer skincare tips?
For glowing, youthful skin, it’s really important to stay hydrated. Make sure you are consuming 2-3 litres of water each day. Coconut water is also a great hydration booster and delicious on hot beach days!
Also make sure that you cleanse your skin properly at the end of the day to remove any makeup and dirt, as in the heat the pores open up and can become clogged more easily, leading to breakouts.

Green tea and matcha everything! Bursting with antioxidants, it’s an amazing anti-ageing skincare ingredient and you can pop the powder into a smoothie for a nutritional boost too!
