What to pack in your hospital bag?

Are you pregnant and wondering what you should pack in your hospital bag? Here are some essentials to consider. 

FOR BABY:
Your baby doesn't need a lot more than something to wear home and a car seat, but here are a few other items to consider:

🌟A going-home outfit, weather appropriate remember socks & hat if it's cold.
🌟A baby wrap, helps your baby feel safe and secure in the outside world.
🌟Burp cloths (cloth nappies work a treat for this)
🌟A nappy or two (the hospital with provide them)
🌟Natural Baby Wipes that first poo can be messy

FOR MUM:

Your baby doesn't need a lot, but you might need a few more things here are a few items to consider:
 
🌟Phone charger and headphones, it's exciting news having a new baby!
🌟Personal items, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, hair ties, deodorant, lip balm, moisturiser, shampoo, conditioner, makeup and whatever makes you feel refreshed. 
🌟SNACKS - think granola bars, nuts, trail mix, lollies, and then double it as your partner will probably want to eat your snacks too!
🌟Extra-absorbent maxi pads (the hospital will provide them, but you might want to use your favourite brand) 
🌟Extra pairs of undies suitable for wearing pads 
🌟Breastfeeding bras and breast pads if you plan to breastfeed
🌟 PJs, slippers and a dressing gown to throw on if you have visitors
🌟 Lose fitting clothes, think elastic waste, hoodies, cardigans.
