Ultimate Morning Matcha Smoothie

Looking for the perfect energising breakfast smoothie? Well, look no further. This matcha smoothie is loaded with alkalising greens, energising matcha powder, bioavailable vegan protein, good fats and hydrating coconut water to give you everything you need to start your day on a high note. 

Ingredients (serves 1)

1 cup lightly packed baby spinach 

1 frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen mango or pineapple

1-2 teaspoons matcha powder

1 cups coconut water

1 teaspoon chia seeds

1-2 tablespoon vanilla vegan protein powder

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1 teaspoon coconut oil 

 

Method

Throw all ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Serve and enjoy immediately.
