We asked raw and vegan food expert, yogi, speaker and author Maz Valcorza from Sadhana Kitchen to share one of her favourite recipes and she gave us this delicious green smoothie you can try at home. It's one of the most delicious and healthy ways to start your day!
Maz's Everyday Green Smoothie
Serves 2
Ingredients:
1 large banana chopped and frozen
1/2 cup diced frozen mango
1/2 cup diced pineapple
1 tsp fresh lime juice
1/4 cup shredded cos lettuce
2 large leaves kale shredded
1 medium cucumber diced
500 ml filtered water
Optional:
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon amazonia raw greens
Method:
Pop everything into a blender adding the pineapple first so it catches the blades for easy blending. Blend on high speed until super smooth and divide into serving glasses or jars. Sip mindfully and don't forget to chew!
