Our Ingredients

Natural Ingredients for Sensitive Skin

When it comes to what goes into Wotnot Naturals, our philosophy is simple - we use 100% wot’s good and 0% wot’s not.

Now, more than ever, families rely on natural - not synthetic - skin care. After all, why wouldn’t you put the health of your body, and the planet, first? Our co-founders, Sinead Roberts and Sioned Guard, are uncompromising when creating natural alternatives to conventional options.

For 16 years, they have collaborated with their customers to create baby and skin care products with nourishing, organic oils certified by ACO and COSMOS ORGANIC,  while avoiding commonly used cosmetic ingredients considered toxic by the EWG Skin Deep® database.

Certified by ACO. Natural Organic.

0% wot’s not good

Genetically modified organisms (GMOs)

Living organisms genetically engineered in laboratories, they commonly show up in skin care products as lauric acid, lethicin and maltodextrins.

Polyethylene glycols (PEGs)

Often used in cosmetic products as surfactants, emulsifiers, cleansing agents, humectants and skin conditioners. PEGs are also known as ethoxylated chemicals, which may cause skin irritation.

Parabens

Parabens are a type of preservative often used to prolong shelf life by preventing the growth of harmful bacteria and mold.

Sulfates

Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES) are compounds produced from petroleum and plant sources such as coconut and palm oil. SLS and SLES may irritate your eyes, skin and lungs especially with long-term use.

Artificial fragrances

The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) shows some synthetic fragrances have been linked to health concerns including cancer, allergies and sensitivities.

Synthetic dyes

Synthetic colours are made from coal tar or petroleum, which can be contaminated with heavy metals such as lead and arsenic.

Ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA)

Often used as a stabiliser in cosmetics to prevent ingredients from binding. It also allows products to foam.

Petrochemicals

A petrochemical is any chemical derived from petroleum and natural gas and used for a variety of commercial purposes.

Gluten

Gluten is a protein found in wheat, barley, rye and other grains which some people have allergies to, so we have excluded it.
